1. About BudgetBunny

BudgetBunny (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile application that helps users in the Netherlands compare grocery prices across supermarkets, scan product barcodes, manage wishlists, and receive price-drop alerts.

By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen inside the App. Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems.

4. Premium Subscription

BudgetBunny offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features, including unlimited wishlists, price history tracking, and price-drop alerts.

All prices include applicable taxes.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s App Store or Google Play account settings.
• No refund is provided for the unused portion of a current billing period after cancellation.

5. Price Data

Product prices displayed in the App are sourced from publicly available information provided by supermarket retailers. We update prices regularly but we do not guarantee that displayed prices are current, accurate, or complete. Always verify the final price in store before purchasing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the App beyond normal use.
• Interfere with the App’s infrastructure or security.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the App are the property of BudgetBunny or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, BudgetBunny is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
